Shop the Hottest Bikinis for Summer
Range of Styles and Colours
It's time to turn up the heat this summer in some gorgeous bikini sets. At Beginning Boutique, we're in love with our amazing selection of bikinis in a range of styles and colours — from the classic G-string bikini bottoms and cheeky triangle cuts to high-waisted bottoms and bold animal print. We've got it made for every babe!
High-Waisted Bikini Sets
Our new-season high-waisted bikini sets are to die for. Modest yet alluring, the streamlined silhouette looks incredible on everyone. For a stylish ensemble, pair a solid bandeau top with a high-waisted bottom for an effortlessly polished beach look.
Mix and Match to Find Your Perfect Set
Mix and match bikini tops and bottoms to create your own unique look and keep your swimwear fresh all season. Here are our top tips:
- Mix solids with patterns. Pair a patterned bikini top with a solid colour bottom (or vice versa) for a flattering, foolproof combination.
- Be bold and mix patterns. Try vertical stripes on top with horizontal stripes in the same colour, or a small floral print top with a larger floral bottom. Trust us — it works!
- Mix your solids. Pair contrasting solid colours — think orange with green or yellow with blue. Just avoid pairing two pieces in slightly off-matching shades of the same colour.
Finding the Best Bikini for You
When it comes to choosing the best bikini, it's all about styles that accentuate your waist, lengthen your legs, and show off your best features. A strappy black bikini is always a glam choice. Our ever-popular triangle bikini is a great option — pair it with a classic G-string or thong for a cohesive look. For the ultimate beach statement, a Brazilian cut falls below the hips while the higher back shows off your bum beautifully.
Trending Styles
- Halter Neck Bikini. Feminine and flattering with incredible support — the push-up effect without the underwire. Hugely popular for good reason.
- Crop Top Bikini. A must-have for every fashionista. More coverage than a triangle top with all the support you need. Choose from an underwire crop top for the best of both worlds, or a square neckline for a sporty look.
- Crochet Bikini. A crowd-pleaser guaranteed to turn heads. Dress in green or rainbow for that retro-chic aesthetic.
Colours and Prints You Need in Your Wardrobe
Channel your inner jungle queen with magnificent animal print bikini sets — think crop tops in animal print or sexy zebra designs, bold and eye-catching. Neutrals, hot pink, and green are top favourites too. For babes who love colour, go retro with floral and sunset print designs, or reach for our shirred and metallic bikini sets for a bit of glam and sparkle.
Swimwear to Suit Your Shape
Whatever your shape, Beginning Boutique has the perfect bikini for you. Triangle bikinis are always a hit, and the reverse bikini is the new kid on the block. If texture is more your style, try a towelling bikini. Solid colour halter or crop tops paired with patterned bottoms show off your hips and legs beautifully, while an underwire top or bralette bikini is a great choice to highlight your bust.
Flattering Bikinis in a Range of Styles
- Bandeau Bikini. Feminine, chic, and fuss-free — no strap fiddling and perfect for getting rid of unwanted tan lines.
- Ruched Bikini. The textured material adds a pretty, feminine charm that sets it apart from the rest.
- Tie-Side Bikini. Flattering and adjustable — the side ties accent your best features while giving you the perfect fit.
- High-Leg Bikini. For the babe who loves to flaunt her gorgeous legs. The high-rise bottom creates the illusion of longer legs for a striking retro silhouette.
- Off-Shoulder Bikini Top. An elegant style perfectly made to highlight your shoulders — pair with high-waisted bottoms for a retro look or thongs for a sexier option.
Must-Have Accessories for Your Bikini
- Cover-Ups. Think loose-fitting tunics, oversized tees, crochet tops, carefree playsuits, and flowing kimonos. Light and breezy is the mantra.
- Hats. The essential bikini accessory. A wide-brimmed hat provides shade and shapes your whole look.
- Sunglasses. An outfit is never complete without a great pair — they frame your face while keeping you protected from the sun.

Frequently Asked Questions
Start with the top. If you have a larger bust, look for styles with more coverage and support — underwire tops, crop-style bikini tops or styles with adjustable ties give you more control over fit. For a smaller bust, triangle tops, bandeau styles and ruffly or textured fabrics add volume. For bottoms, high-waisted styles provide more coverage and suit most body types. Brazilian cuts sit higher on the hip and suit those who want less coverage. If you're buying a set and you're different sizes on top and bottom, look for collections where tops and bottoms are sold separately so you can mix sizes.
Triangle tops are the most classic style — minimal coverage, ties at the back and neck. Crop top bikinis offer more coverage and a sportier aesthetic. Bandeau tops are strapless and give a clean, minimal look — best for smaller busts. Underwire bikini tops provide structured support similar to a bra and suit larger busts. Longline or rash guard styles offer sun protection and are popular for full days outdoors. Halter neck tops are adjustable and offer good support. The right style comes down to the level of support you need and the aesthetic you're going for.
Most modern bikinis are made from a blend of nylon or polyester with spandex. This combination is lightweight, quick-drying and holds its shape well in and out of the water. The spandex content is what gives swimwear its stretch and recovery — higher spandex content generally means the fabric holds up better over time and through repeated wear. Avoid machine washing on a hot cycle or tumble drying, as heat breaks down the elastic fibres and causes the fabric to lose its shape and colour faster.
Rinse your bikini in cold fresh water after every wear — chlorine, salt water and sunscreen all degrade swimwear fabric over time if left to sit. Hand wash with a gentle detergent rather than machine washing, which can stretch and distort the shape. Never wring or twist the fabric — press out excess water gently and lay flat to dry rather than hanging, which can stretch the fabric under its own weight. Avoid sitting on rough surfaces like concrete pool edges in your bikini as this wears the fabric quickly. Rotating between two swimsuits gives each one time to recover its shape between wears.
The easiest approach is to start with a neutral or solid base — a black, white or neutral bottom pairs with almost any top, and vice versa. From there you can introduce a print or colour in the other piece without it clashing. Mixing textures also works well — a ribbed bottom with a printed top, or a plain top with a textured bottom. If you're buying separates, keep the colour temperature consistent — warm tones with warm tones, cool tones with cool tones. When in doubt, the same colour in two different shades always looks intentional rather than mismatched.
